About us
Not disruption. Infrastructure.
We built the standard, we chair the community, and we ship the platform that turns it into infrastructure. UtiliPub™ is built by Flux Tailor on URPX, the open standard for utility rate plan data hosted by Linux Foundation Energy.
Utility rate plan data, open and structured.
Rate plan data is infrastructure the energy transition needs, yet for decades it stayed locked in PDFs, rebuilt by hand for every project. Flux Tailor designed URPX to give that data one shared, machine-readable format, and built UtiliPub™ as the managed platform that makes it usable today: a white-label rate plan library, a cost-modeling API, and the tools to publish rate plans born-digital.

Why Flux Tailor
We wrote the standard the category runs on.
Standards governance
Our founder chairs the URPX working group inside LF Energy. Neutral, open governance lets utilities and regulators adopt without lock-in fear.
Open base, commercial platform
URPX is free and open forever. UtiliPub™ is the managed library, cost-modeling API, and validation tooling built on top, following the open-core pattern behind Linux and Red Hat, Spark and Databricks.
Built on open web standards
URPX is JSON-LD and RDF, the same semantic-web standards the rest of the internet runs on. Your data stays portable by design.
Fixing it for us, and fixing it for everybody.
